County College

A Certified Public Officials Program for county leaders:

County College's aim is to foster better government through education. We have drawn on the guidelines of the National Certified Public Manager Consortium (CPM) to offer the following certification programs:

  • Certified Public Official program requires 18 classes, at least 12 of which are chosen from a selected list of CPM-approved courses.
  • Certified Public Supervisor program requires completion of 28 CPM-approved classes.
  • Certified Public Manager program requires 56 CPM-approved classes plus a supervised project. This certification is nationally recognized and registered.

County College also works with affiliates of the New Mexico Association of Counties to develop programs meeting affiliate-specific needs.

New Mexico Beef Quality Assurance

The New Mexico Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Program provides beef and dairy producers with the necessary training materials to meet the requirements for becoming either New Mexico BQA Trained Producers or New Mexico BQA Certified Producers.
