NM Chile Pesticides 2003
The following pesticides are labeled for use on chile peppers at the time of publication (December 2003). Constant changes in pesticide labeling may result in the loss or addition of available materials. While all efforts will be made to maintain current information, it is the legal responsibility of producers, consultants, and applicators to read the entire label and check for registered uses. Addition or omission of products does not constitute a recommendation or condemnation by NMSU or the CES.
IMPORTANT - You must follow the label directions for all pesticides (herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, nematicides) to get the best results. Failure to follow timing, rate, incorporation, etc. directions may result in the following: 1) poor control, 2) crop damage, 3) wasted time, money, and resources, 4) contract violations, 5) legal damages!
Many products are "restricted use" (RU) pesticides. This means that the product can only be purchased by a "certified pesticide applicator". The application of these products must also be supervised by a certified pesticide applicator. For more information on the certified pesticide applicator program or on pesticides registered in New Mexico, contact the Pesticide Division at New Mexico Department of Agriculture (505-646-2133).
