This is a basic software program that includes a cashbook, budgets, bank reconciliation’s, bills to pay, time sheets, quotes, projects and reporting. There are no accounting skills or training necessary to use this program.

Farm Files:

Farm Files has three different programs that can be used to maintain your financial records.

Farm Files Premier tracks commodities, fields, mapping, harvest, fertilizer, tillage, chemicals, planting, expenses, incomes, contracts and trucking. It also allows you to export your information to an Excel spreadsheet.
Cost: $159.95.
Farm Files Deluxe has the same features as the premier package with the exception of mapping and exportation to Excel.
Cost: $99.95
People Choice Accounting Farm Files Edition also includes banking and checking, accounting and general ledger, and employee and payroll management.

There are two software programs that can be used to maintain your financial records.

Farm Biz is a computer banking system that logs all of your transactions, does reconciliation’s and charts your incomes and expenses. No training or accounting skills necessary.
Cost: $195.00
Ultra Farm is a cash farm accounting system that includes payroll, crop break-even, cash flows, balance sheets and many other accounting features.
Cost: $450.00

Farm Works:

The Farm Works system requires two programs. Farm Trac and Farm Funds. Farm Funds maintains your books on an accrual and cash basis, and has all of the basic accounting software needed, including payroll. It requires Farm Trac in order to run. Farm Trac allows you to keep automatic notations for field history and chemical uses in each field.
Cost: $500.00 for the two programs, without taxes and shipping and handling.

SIGA Farm Software:

SigaFinance for windows has a basic accounting and management program that
costs $695.00.
Payroll and Invoicing are additional programs.
The cost for these two additional pieces of software is $670.00.

Red Wing Accounting Software:

AgCheck accounting displays incomes on a cash and accrual basis, prepares reports and does market and value balance sheet information.
