Chile Field Day at Leyendecker PSRC

There will be a Chile Field Day at the Leyendecker Plant Science Research Center (PSRC) on Wednesday, August 10.

Registration will begin at 7:30 am, and the field day demonstrations will start at 8:00 am.

This field day is free of charge and open to the public. There will be exhibits of ongoing chile research at the PSRC, and lunch will be served. The program will end around 2:00 pm.

Chile Task Force/WR Johnson & Sons Field Day

The Chile Task Force and W.R. Johnson & Sons will host a technology field day on Wednesday, June 22nd from 9:30-lunch. The field day will feature the CEMCO mechanical chile thinner (the Johnson’s own machine #1); lessons learned from installing and operating a large-scale drip irrigation system; and an overview of their onion operations.
